SIA Volunteers

Saved in America is made up of several professional volunteers including former Navy SEALs, special operators, and police officers all of which are also licensed, private investigators. This amazing team of highly skilled individuals has come together to fight against human trafficking by finding and rescuing missing or exploited children as part of SIA. Thankfully, the vast majority of the over 233 children who have been rescued by Saved in America were found before being trafficked.

Missing Children

Human trafficking or sex trafficking is growing more and more prevalent even within America’s borders. Most of these children are victimized after they have run away or been lured away from their homes or those they love. According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, this usually happens within 48 hours of a kid leaving home and hitting the streets. Human trafficking is prevalent all over America, but it is extremely high in the San Diego region. The San Diego district attorney’s Office estimates that at any given time, there are 2,500 runaway minors at any time.

A great deal of these kids will become victims of the human trafficking industry if volunteers, like Saved in America, don’t help law enforcement and their parents find them in time. Amazingly, there has been proven trafficking recruitment taking place in 100% of San Diego district schools, meaning even when kids go to school, they aren’t safe from the evils of this industry.

The Group of Volunteers Finds Kids For Free

The Saved in America organization helps rescue kids from the human trafficking industry or find them before the predators have the opportunity. They also help them obtain legal representation, rehabilitative therapy, and safe housing. One anonymous parent of a child who had been found by SIA explained how important their work is for those who find themselves in these nightmare scenarios with their children missing. They stated: “You (SIA) stepped up to the plate when we were in desperate need of searching for our missing 1q6-year-old daughter.”

This vital work is all done for free, not costing families even a single dime thanks to the generous donations that fund the charity and their travel and equipment needs. If you want to give to a worthy organization, there is likely none more deserving than Saved in America.
