SEAL Ethos

Master Chief Special Warfare Operator (ret) Kirby Horrell, who is also a highly skilled volunteer for Saved in America gives a special Veterans Day message that highlights the SEAL Ethos. The SEAL message, outlined below explains what makes these men so special and why their efforts on and off the battlefield are some of the most consequential:

In times of war or uncertainty, there is a special breed of warrior ready to answer our Nation’s call. A common man with an uncommon desire to succeed.

Forged by adversity, he stands alongside America’s finest special operations forces to serve his country, and the American people, and protect their way of life.

I am that man.

This Creed Showcases the Character of Kirby

The Naval Special Warfare Common is a maritime component of the U.S. Special Operations Command. Its mission is to provide maritime special operation forces to conduct full-spectrum operations either unilaterally or with partners to support national objectives. This is Kirby’s background and what makes him such a valuable asset to the team at Saved in America.

Saved in America’s Volunteers

Saved in America is headquartered in California but serves all states within the nation. The workforce is all volunteers and comes from a variety of backgrounds. However, all the volunteers have either military specialty training or have served as law enforcement officers or worked within the criminal justice system. They also are licensed private investigators, which enables them to work on behalf of a kid and help organize rescue efforts in conjunction with area law enforcement. These works are all freely given with no price tag attached by these amazing individuals. Instead of retiring and lounging on the beach or the golf course, these individuals like Kirby have continued to serve others just in a slightly different way. Instead of going to battle against foreign enemies abroad, they are bringing the fight to America’s streets and prisons by fighting back against the human trafficking industry.

A good soldier will never let injustice go unchallenged or allow the weak to be preyed upon. This is what makes them such valiant individuals and worthwhile addition to the team at Saved in America. Without them and their skills— honed by years of military service— Saved in America would not be nearly as successful.
