KUSI News

Retired Master Chief Kirby Horrell joined Good Morning San Diego’s KUSI News show to discuss the upcoming 4th annual #ChildSavedNotSold fundraising event as well as other key factors about Saved in America. Kirby Horrel explains to KUSI’s Jason Austell the importance of the organization Saved in America and the fight they are in against human trafficking. Throughout this short interview, Kirby happily explains the background of Saved in America and why the work they do is so necessary.

Work For The Parents

Kirby explains the way that Saved in America works with families free of charge. They are given power of attorney by the parents to act on their minor child’s behalf during the process of finding and rescuing them from the predator who has trapped them in human trafficking. Each volunteer is a professional who selflessly gives of their talents and skill to track down and find missing and exploited children from the sex industry. All the volunteers who work with Saved in America have professional experience in either law enforcement or military special ops. They are all also licensed private investigators. This means that each volunteer of Saved in America understands how to work within the confines of the law, always for the betterment of the victims while helping law enforcement officials be able to do their jobs as well.

Fundraising is Key

As part of the interview featured on Good Morning San Diego, the upcoming fundraising event is brought up. This event will serve to help raise both awareness and funds for Saved in America as they continue their mission of #ChildSavedNotLost. Saved in America wants everyone to understand the scope of the human trafficking problem as it exists today. It is at epidemic levels and is an increasingly growing issue, victimizing young children nationwide. The only way to fund the efforts of the volunteers successfully and not have to charge parents for their vital, life-changing, and life-saving services is through fundraising events like the one mentioned on air. If you would like to further the reach of this organization and fight for more lives saved not sold, you too can give at any time by donating to Saved in America. This will mean you join us at Saved in America on our mission to rescue every child from human trafficking.
