#ChildSavedNotSold

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children estimates that an astounding one out of every seven runaways becomes victims of sex trafficking. It is this horrendous statistic that led to the founding of Saved In America in an effort to combat the atrocities that have become nearly second nature throughout America and the world. Saved In America, in an effort to raise needed funds to keep fighting the good fight against sex trafficking. Giving Back Magazine proudly covered the event and highlighted the many professionals who make up our organization.

What Saved In America is All About, Walking Through a Nightmare Scenario

At Saved In America, we proudly provide our services free of charge to families who find themselves facing one of the most disconcerting situations imaginable. A truly nightmarish situation. Imagine as a parent going into the room of your teen daughter early one morning only to find the bed empty and the window cracked revealing her method of escape. Your mind races, where could she be? Your heart sinks with all the possibilities and knowing instantly that most of them are situations you don’t even want to voice much less consider. This is the exact situation in which Saved In America steps in and begins the process of locating your lost child. They do this through the immense knowledge of highly skilled, professional volunteers who have backgrounds including police work and military specialty service. They find the missing child through various methods of intelligence gathering and then help law enforcement rescue the child.

Why Funds Are Necessary

Saved In America never charges a family for their services. Therefore, there is a need for resources, giving the volunteers what they need to do their jobs. In addition, Saved In America works with shelters to provide a safe haven and rehabilitation for kids who are coming out of sex trafficking, which also requires funding. That is why galas and fundraisers like the #ChildSavedNotSold fundraiser is so important to continue Saved In America’s rescue efforts.  #ChildSavedNotSold
