Safe Home

Human trafficking is a growing problem across the nation, and nowhere is it more prevalent than our own beloved state of California. In fact, our state leads the nation currently in the dire category of human trafficking instances. Thankfully, our organization Saved In America is taking steps to combat this immensely destructive practice, and we aren’t alone.

Why Safe Houses Are Necessary

When a child is recovered from a life of slavery, they are obviously greatly traumatized and in need of complete rehabilitation. Add to this fact that many of the kids recovered from sex trafficking were runaways, trying to flee foster homes or abusive home situations. This means these kids more than likely can’t just go back home once they have been found.

Everyone Can Help

Our organization is a not-for-profit organization that relies on donations to be able to fund our rescue efforts and then substantiate safe living arrangements for the victims of these crimes once they have been recovered. The sex trade industry embodies a worldwide epidemic and its complete destruction will take a concerted effort on the part of many people in power as well as everyday people who wish to make the world a better place. The good news is everyone can help and everyone can make a difference. #ChildSavedNotSold
