Pro Life

Having a pro-life mindset means more than simply choosing life at birth or before birth, it also means valuing life as that child ages and becomes a young adult, teenager or preteen. Thankfully, Saved in America does value the lives of each and every child that exists as part of God’s creation, which is why they are committed to helping victims of human trafficking find freedom, restoration, and recovery. This article by Prolife News Flash explains more about human trafficking and the work that SIA is doing daily to make a difference.

Who is Saved in America?

Our organization, Saved in America, was founded as a way to give parents and caregivers the help they need when their children run away. Due to the immense load local law enforcement departments carry, when a child seemingly voluntarily leaves their home, there is little they can do to track them down. They simply do not have the resources or the manpower to devote. Tracking down one child takes days and days of research and surveillance and is a time-consuming feat. Thankfully, SIA’s team of professional experts freely give their time to make rescues possible. To date, they have a 100% success rate of recovering girls from human trafficking who have gone missing for families who seek their help.

Time is Important

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children estimates that of every six runaways who are considered “endangered”, one will be taken into a sex trafficking ring. The underground crime economy that makes up this hideous blight on society earns criminals more than $50 billion globally and around $290 million in a large American city like Atlanta.

Funds Are Needed

While the retired professionals who make up the team of Saved in America give freely of their time to find missing kids when asked to intervene, they still need funds to make it happen. Fundraisers and individual giving ensure that SIA and their team have the equipment they need to be able to do the reconnaissance work necessary to find even the most well-hidden child and get them the help they need. Therefore, if you have ever wanted to give to a worthy cause and ensure that good comes from your donation, giving to SIA is a great idea. It’s also a practical way to protect kids and value life, no matter the age of the child in question.
