Colorful History

Saved in America’s founder Joseph Travers has a rich colorful history that led him to create this world-renowned organization. Nearly all his previous careers included some form of helping others achieve justice, or helping bring the truth to light. Today, Joseph serves as the head of Saved in America, an organization that has successfully rescued over 260 girls from the horrors of the human trafficking industry.

Traver’s Past and Present

Joseph Travers has a career that has followed a linear path from military to law enforcement and now into private security and investigations. He is also the author of several books including the “Private Investigators’ Handbook and Almanac.” He is the past president of the California Association of Licensed Investigators, which incidentally is the largest of its kind in the entire world. He is also a pastor and takes his role of serving others very seriously, which of course, played a big role in him starting Saved in America in the first place. Interestingly, Traver’s son, Joshua, became the youngest private investigator to ever get a license in California when he achieved that goal at 15 years of age.

About Saved in America

Joseph’s most recent endeavor is Saved in America. This organization works to find missing or exploited children, hopefully before they end up in the hands of human trafficking rings. This group consists of several volunteers who have previous experience as either military specialists or law enforcement officers or both. Travers explains his calling to take on this new challenge and to stand in the gap for kids who can’t fight for themselves. “I call it being a Christian. You have a responsibility, while you’re here to do the best you can because every day is a gift. I mean every day, you wake up, you get your air for free, you get another day. It’s all a gift, so do what you can while you’re here. “ Saved in America does not ever charge families for their services. Instead, they are supported by generous donations from fellow Christians and others who want to see kids live safer, happier lives free from human trafficking. Any donations are helpful and extremely appreciated. If you can’t give much, give something because every little bit helps!
