The Mission

The most likely victim of sex trafficking in today’s modern form of slavery is a runaway child. According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, one in every seven runaways will end up being recruited into the human traffic industry. Furthermore, within the first 48 hours after their disappearance, ⅓ of runaways will be recruited into human trafficking. The mission of Saved In America is to fight back against these statistics and find missing kids before they become victims of this heinous crime. 

Why Runaways Are Especially Vulnerable

When kids run away from their support system, it makes them more vulnerable to being preyed upon by pimps and predators. They see the opportunity to swoop in and gain the trust of the runaway, enticing them into a new lifestyle. In many cases, they even helped create the desire to run away in the first place. The end result is a child who has now been separated from the pack, from their protection, and from their safety. They are now in the perfect position to become a human trafficking victim.

The Mission of Saved In America

Our organization, Saved In America is made up of professional volunteers who are all privately licensed and insured private investigators. These individuals, with backgrounds in either military specialties or as former law enforcement professionals, volunteer their specialized skills and immense training to track down and find kids before the bad guys. This is their mission, a child saved, not sold. Thankfully, every child they have been tasked to find, they have been able to find them, often before they become part of the human trafficking industry. 

All This and More

In addition to working hand-in-hand with parents and law enforcement professionals, SIA assists to rescue children either before or once they are entrenched in the human trafficking industry, Saved In America also assists with recovery once the victim has been located. Being coerced and forced into a horrific lifestyle is a traumatic event and many kids need help to recover, in order to move on to live a healthy life. They will often require rehabilitation in a safe facility where they are kept away from predators. Saved In America ensures that these kids find safe locations to stay. They also help families prosecute the captures. All this, and the only payment required is the smile on the face of the parent once their lost child is returned safely to their side. #ChildSavedNotSold
