Soroptimist Vista North

Although Saved In America works hard to champion the cause of the downtrodden in the form of standing in the gap and protecting young girls from the horrors of human trafficking, they are not standing alone in their fight against this evil. In fact, one group the Soroptimist of Vista North County held a meeting in which Saved In America’s own founder Joseph Travers gave a speech and lent his voice to the continued efforts of fighting back against human trafficking.

What is the Soroptimist Club?

The Soroptimist Club, which has branches all over the United States, is a grassroots organization that is made up of volunteers who are committed to helping women and girls achieve their individual collective potential, through the realization of their aspirations and goals. They held a meeting for their organization and hosted Joseph Travers of Saved In America as a key speaker in order to learn more about the growth of human trafficking within America’s borders.

What Did Joseph Travers Convey?

As part of his speech, Travers told the true story of a kidnapped girl that Saved In America helped to recover much to the delight of her concerned and desperate parents. Saved In America, an organization made up of professional volunteers with backgrounds in specialized military service as well as law enforcement, has a 100% success rating at the present time, meaning that every child they have been asked to find, they have been able to track them down and get them back to safety.

It Isn’t Without a Cost

Although the efforts of Saved In America and their highly skilled group of professional volunteers does not come with a cost for parents, there is a cost related to each and every rescue. In fact, according to their records, each recovery costs more than $5,500. This of course does not get passed on to the parents who are searching for their children. Instead, every dollar is provided through donations and fundraising efforts. It is important for Travers and the other members of this worthy organization to maintain their ability to help find missing girls without having to charge families for these services. This is only possible through continued donations from those who want to support their efforts. #ChildSavedNotSold
