VCBA Salutes SIA

The VCBA saluted one of their original members, our own Saved in America, as an important nonprofit organization that successfully rescues, prevents and recovers sex-trafficked children in America. Child sex trafficking is a problem in all nations across the globe. However, what many do not know is that it has become a growing problem in our own United States as well. This increase in human trafficking, known as modern-day slavery, is what led our founder Joseph Travers to begin this immensely important organization in 2014. Eventually, our organization joined with the VCBA to further communicate the scope of the problem to area leaders.

More About Saved in America

The entire organization of Saved in America is manned by former special operations members, and current and former police detectives, all of which have become insured private investigators. The motto of this organization is “child saved not sold.” Consequently, it is determined to bring kids home, free of charge, and rescue them from the perils of human trafficking. The 30 or so operators that make up the volunteer organization of Saved in America and the group leaders of the organization, are excited to continue expansion efforts, further extending the scope of the group and allowing them to help even more kids.

Big Plans on the Horizon

Travers, along with the rest of Saved in America, is looking ahead to the next couple of years for the organization. His goal is to do more fundraisers, which will help the group continue to grow its reach. His ultimate goal is a two-year drive across America that hits 49 states. This will allow the group to reach all three US trafficking corridors. This project was put on hold due to COVID, but hopefully will ramp back up soon.
