Our Mission

Our organization Saved In America has one important objective. Our mission: Locate. Your. Child. We work tirelessly to locate runaway or missing children, a group that is most vulnerable to sexual exploitation. After recovery, we assist in helping families procure legal representation, safe housing and rehabilitative therapy. In addition, our organization is committed to assisting high risk juvenile shelters that protect children from further exploitation by predators and pimps. 

Who We Are

Our organization, founded in 2014, began as a way to locate and assist in the recovery of missing and exploited children who had become imprisoned in modern-day slavery, known as sex or human trafficking. Our organization is made up of professional volunteers who have backgrounds in law enforcement and military specialist services. We have assisted in the investigation and location of more than 260 children from all over the United States since 2014. Of those rescued, an astounding 60% were recovered before they were sold into the trafficking industry. 

We Work With Parents to Find Lost Kids

While in many cases, the kids who are victimized and become entrenched in the sex industry are high-risk kids from homes with abuse or neglect or in the foster system, there are some that have simply run away or distanced themselves from a loving home. We work with these parents who are committed to finding their lost child before they become victimized further by the industry. The parents give our volunteers legal permission to act on their behalf and to search the history of their child’s social media activity as well as other data that is often used to ascertain a probable location. One such parent who was devastated when they discovered their child was missing said the following on how our organization helped in her recovery: “You stepped up to the plate when we were in desperate need of searching for our missing 16-year-old daughter.” 

Assisting Law Enforcement

Unfortunately, even the most skilled law enforcement organizations are understaffed. The predators and pimps know this and take advantage of the situation, exploiting weak and vulnerable children. We know that the police cannot be everywhere at once nor do they have the hours to commit to the surveillance that is often necessary to crack such a case. Therefore, we work on their side providing much-needed backup and enable them to do their job once the victim’s location is discovered. #ChildSavedNotSold
