The 13th Annual Human Trafficking Awareness Walk in Vista took place on January 12th and was covered by the North County Daily Star. Unfortunately, the event, organized by the beloved Vista’s Soroptimist Club, was dampened by a chilly rain, which could’ve prevented participation. Thankfully, even with the rain, participants remained vigilant and just grabbed umbrellas and continued their walk in earnest.

In the second part of the America Trends interview by Aimee Fuller, Joseph Travers continues his interview sharing insider information about human trafficking in general and Saved in America's efforts towards fighting back against it in particular. He begins this second part of the interview by explaining how kids are groomed by traffickers and recruiters. He explains how they work to get kids to run away through coercion.
