Advocacy in Action: Championing Laws to Protect Our Children

At Saved In America, advocacy is a crucial component of our mission to safeguard children. By influencing legislation and raising public awareness, we aim to create systemic changes that offer better protection for the most vulnerable members of our society.

Collaborating with Legislators

Our team actively advocates with policymakers to strengthen laws against child exploitation and trafficking. We provide valuable insights and testimonies that help shape effective legislation. A highlight of our advocacy efforts was honoring Senator Shannon Grove for her outstanding contributions to anti-trafficking laws and getting SB41 signed into law.

“Working alongside dedicated legislators allows us to advocate for stronger protections and resources for children at risk.”

Raising Public Awareness

Through strategic media engagements and public speaking events, we strive to inform and educate the public about the realities of child exploitation. Our goal is to empower communities with knowledge, encouraging proactive measures and vigilance.

Media Features: Our presence in 15 media outlets has amplified our message, reaching a broader audience.

Community Events: Hosting 12 outreach events provided platforms for discussions and education on critical issues. Click here to watch Joseph and Joshua Travers at Street Cop Conference in Orlando, Florida.

Empowering Through Education

Advocacy extends to equipping individuals with the tools they need to make a difference. Our educational resources, including newsletters and workshops, focus on:

• Recognizing signs of exploitation.

• Understanding the importance of internet safety.

• Promoting open communication within families and communities.

Supporting Future Advocates

We believe in nurturing the next generation of professionals dedicated to this cause. By awarding 2 scholarships to youths pursuing careers in criminal justice and social work, we invest in future leaders who will continue the fight against exploitation.
