Child Saved

Globally, there are more than two million children worldwide who have been victimized by human sex trafficking, with nearly 100,000 being from America. Sadly, of that number, less than 2% of these victims are rescued. This evil is growing throughout the world, even in America, which is the most blessed nation in the world. Thankfully, Saved in America is fighting back against this immense threat and has personally rescued over 270 kids to date, kids who were labeled missing and exploited. Many of these kids were rescued before the human trafficking rings were able to take them, others were rescued out of these rings. The Saved in America mission can be summed up as a child saved not sold as that is the sole purpose of this organization and what it works towards daily.

Mission: Child Saved

The reason behind the founding of Saved in America was to have an organization whose sole goal it was to track down and find missing kids who were falling through the cracks. Law enforcement wants to help, but they are underfunded, and undermanned and do not have the resources or the hours available necessary to take on each missing or runaway case and give it the attention it deserves and demands to solve. The professionals who volunteer their time at SIA, on the other hand, do make the time for these cases. They do the hard work necessary to research these cases, investigate using social media and other connections, and eventually find the missing child. Then, they work with law enforcement to create a plan of rescue and step aside to let law enforcement safely remove the child from their present situation.

Mission Doesn't End at Rescue

Thankfully, SIA’s mission doesn't end with the rescue of the child from human trafficking. They also ensure that each child is transported to a safe house or given the help they need to recover on all levels, emotionally mentally, and otherwise from the trauma they have endured. They also have legal advisors who give their time to help families on a legal level to hopefully punish the predators who are responsible for their child’s horrific experience. SIA works from the beginning to the end of the process to help a victim become empowered and healed, giving them the tools they need to go on and live a productive life.
