America Trends I

This episode of America Trends with host Aimee Fuller tells the story of 15-year-old Lindsey who went missing, leaving her parents wondering what had happened to her. At first, when Lindsay went missing, her mom assumed she was with a friend. She called around and asked everyone she knew if they had seen her daughter. She was understandably in a panic and reached out to Saved in America to handle Lindsay’s case after realizing she had no idea where her daughter was and assumed she was in grave danger.

Parents Try to Do The Work Themselves

As is explained in this news story, parents often find themselves without anywhere to turn once their kids disappear. Law enforcement wants to help, but they are overwhelmed, underfunded, and undermanned. They simply cannot allocate the manpower necessary to track down and find missing kids like Lindsay. Thankfully, Saved in America is on the job and can step in and help parents who find themselves facing this nightmarish scenario.

Saved in America

As part of this story, Amanda interviewed Joseph Travers, co-founder of Saved in America who discussed the specifics of this organization. He explains how the group came to be and how it is made up of all volunteers who give their time and expertise to find missing kids before they are victimized by the human trafficking industry. All the volunteers are licensed private investigators, and they all have either military specialty or law enforcement experience, or a bit of both in some cases. They use their immense training and skills to track down and find missing kids who are at risk of being taken into the horrific human trafficking industry.

It’s All Aboveboard

The group at SIA is above board with all volunteers having the correct licensing including weapon licensing to do their jobs. They work behind the scenes to figure out where a missing child is then they call in the local law enforcement to oversee the actual rescue. Everything is done above board and on the right side of the law, all with the victims’ well-being, safety, and mental health in mind. This group offers all this free of charge, not costing parents a dime thanks to generous donations and fundraising events that make these services possible without having to charge parents for the help they so desperately need.
