True Story
A mother’s main goal is to ensure that her child is safe and loved. Imagine, as a mother, learning that the child you loved more than life itself was missing, and you had no idea where they were. Then, imagine that they had been in a bad situation already and were more likely to end up the victim of a human trafficking crime. This very scary situation was far from hypothetical for one mom who faced this nightmare when her beloved daughter went missing. This true story is the story of a mom whose child was successfully recovered by Saved in America.
Child Ran Away From Group Home
The daughter in this story was one who was already struggling. She had some mental health issues and other problems that led her to live in a group home, not in a home with her mother. It was from this group home—or a treatment facility—where she was supposed to be getting help that she ran away. However, since it seemed from the outside looking in as if she chose to leave and wasn’t kidnapped, then the police department could do little to help. This is when the mom turned to Saved in America to help her find her missing child.
Saved in America Got Involved
Once the mom contacted Saved in America to get involved, they began to track down the missing girl. They interviewed her friends, they did a social media investigation, hung flyers, got out on the streets, whatever it took. Eventually, some three months after she disappeared, the missing girl was found and returned to safety. This is just one example of the way that many of the cases SIA is involved with turn out. A desperate parent with nowhere to turn, law enforcement has no answers, and they are without hope. Then, they contact Saved in America and for no charge at all, and this group made up of professional volunteers does the arduous work necessary to find the missing child.
Doesn’t end There
After the rescue, Saved in America ensures that the rescued child has a safe place to go. They also provide legal advice for families facing legal issues or to help them get legal help to convict the wrongdoers in the case. Their service doesn’t end with the rescue, as they want these kids to go on and live productive healthy lives even after their experience.
