Hidden Tears

The Hidden Tears Project is working to develop a prime-time television series that will follow the work being done by our beloved organization Saved in America. As with all Hidden Tears projects, this too will serve a real purpose. In particular, this show will be designed to create increased awareness about the many layers that exist within the domestic sex trafficking industry in America. Global Media Center for Social Impact will be working closely with Hidden Tears to provide additional opportunities for viewers to actively engage with actors, survivors, writers, advocates, and law enforcement to continue to learn even more ways to get personally involved in the eradication of child trafficking in America.

The Mission of Saved in America

The focus of this series will be Saved in America and the work they do daily to rescue and rehabilitate sexually trafficked children within the United States. This organization, founded in 2015 by Joseph Travers, works closely with law enforcement personnel and the parents of missing or exploited children to find these kids before they can become victimized by this ever-growing human trafficking industry.

Families are not charged a dime for the services generously offered by Saved in America. These services include the professional and highly skilled work of the various licensed private investigators who are part of the team at Saved in America. The previous jobs of these individuals include military special ops, law enforcement, and more. After helping to rescue a child, Saved in America then works to help the child rehabilitate and once again reenter society as a healthy individual.

Saved in America Working to Make a Change

In addition to helping families find their missing kids and then following the rescue up with rehabilitation, Saved in America also works closely with law enforcement offering legal support that is designed to ascertain the arrest and hopeful prosecution of the traffickers. On average, a rescue takes around nine days and costs around $5,000. However, parents are not charged a dime, which makes series like the Hidden Tears production that much more important as it can be a means of raising additional funds for Saved in America, which in turn means even more children will be saved from the horrendous human trafficking industry.
