Former LA County Deputy

The founder of our organization, Saved in America, our own Joseph Travers has committed his over 40 years of experience working as a law enforcement officer (former LA County Deputy), police fire commissioner, and private investigator to the mission of saving missing and exploited children. Travers’ entrance into the industry came about through hearing about a real-life missing girl case that ended with the brutal death of 17-year-old Brittanee Drexel. This case combined with his reading an article about retired terror hunters who were fighting against sex slavery in foreign lands became a vision for a way to combat the problem within America’s borders.

Travers Experience Gave Him The Necessary Knowledge

Travers’ experience as a law enforcement officer for so many decades gave him insider knowledge about the drug cartels and the way they were now utilizing the human trafficking industry to exploit children, selling them for their own profit. Thankfully, Travers, who also became a pastor after his retirement from law enforcement, had a heart for those being victimized and wanted to figure out a way to help. This desire to help combat the immense problem of human trafficking within America was the beginning to Saved in America.

Saved in America Helping, Free of Charge

The scope of the problem that exists within America’s borders as it relates to human trafficking is so immense that it simply cannot be properly handled with only existing law enforcement. There are way too many bad guys and not enough good guys with the right training in place to see kids rescued from the clutches of these evil predators. Thankfully, Saved in America is made up of highly trained volunteers like Travers who have either had military or law enforcement experience. They offer their services free of charge to parents across the nation whose children are missing and thought to be in danger or believed to be part of a human trafficking ring. All Saved in America volunteers are licensed private investigators and are committed to seeking justice for these exploited children.

Fighting for Children

Thankfully, the professional volunteers at Saved in America are committed to fighting for children who are being victimized and abused by the horrific human trafficking industry. Their efforts, led by founder Joseph Travers and others, are to be commended. Anyone wishing to help can donate to ensure their efforts are continued.
