Fight Human Trafficking
Saved in America is proudly made up of many highly qualified professional volunteers. Some of these individuals who serve not only as volunteers but who founded our organization are former Navy SEALs, others are former law enforcement professionals. This group of former SEALs and police officers is now committed to saving teens from the horrors of the human trafficking industry, an industry that many do not realize is thriving within the borders of our great land.
Human Trafficking is a Major Problem
The human trafficking industry, which is modern-day slavery, is increasing exponentially even within the United States of America. This is not a problem that exists only globally, in third-world countries, but it is rising in increasing numbers right here at home. For example, in 2016, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received 8.2 million reports of missing children within that year alone. The National Human Trafficking Hotline had 7,621 cases filed that same year.
Former Military and Police Officers Well Suited For The Job
The job of tracking down and finding missing children before they are trapped in the sex industry is a difficult one. It takes a great deal of time-consuming surveillance, data work, and investigation. Due to the nature of the work, individuals with former police or military training are ideally suited for the job at hand. Therefore, our organization, Saved in America, uses only professional volunteers with these backgrounds as well as requiring all our volunteers to be licensed private investigators.
Saved in America’s Success Rating is Second to None
Saved in America boasts an astounding 100% success rate as of January 2018. Since that date, the success rate, as well as the case count, has only climbed higher. This impressive number reveals the fact that the way Saved in America approaches sex trafficking cases works and works well. Mike Williams who is a sheriff from Duval County, Florida, said the following about the work Saved in America does and the crucial way they work alongside the current police force:
“It is a partnership such as this that plays a significant role in law enforcement today, not only from a public safety standpoint but also as an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those who have been victimized.”
