Teens Saved

When contemplating human trafficking, many mistakenly assume it's a problem that affects only third-world nations. In other words, children and young adults in India, Africa, and Asia are at risk. Surely the youth in America is safe from its clutches. Unfortunately, human trafficking, considered modern-day slavery, is everywhere, even here. It’s a thriving industry in America, taking a back seat only to the drug industry in terms of black market success and prosperity.

How Prevalent is Human Trafficking in the United States?

The National Human Trafficking Hotline reported 7,621 cases in 2016, while the National Center on Missing and Exploited Children had up to 8.2 million reports in that same year. Sadly, California is at the top of the list in terms of the number of human trafficking cases. Texas, Florida, Ohio, and New York also have high rates, but human trafficking has been reported in every single state in the nation.

Saved in America Taking a Stand Against Human Trafficking

While the evils of human trafficking grow darker in America, there are good guys committed to defending the innocent against these atrocities in the form of Saved in America. Our organization, co-founded by Joseph Travers, is made up of a group of professional volunteers with specialized training, such as former police investigators, Navy SEALs, and other experts. These heroic individuals who have committed their lives to serving the community and the nation have come together to fight against the evils of the human trafficking industry, standing in the gap between these predators and their prey.

Saved in America Boasts Immense Success

Our organization proudly boasts a 100% success rate of rescuing children from the industry since its founding in 2014. Of the victims rescued, around 60% were found and rescued before they had become victims of trafficking, while they were still runaways. This means that our team of professionals was able to find these missing kids before the predators were able to get them in their clutches. Thankfully, our professional experience is all available to families free of charge, as we are donor supported. If you would like to give towards our cause to ensure we can continue finding and rescuing children, you too will have a positive impact on reducing the industry of human trafficking within America’s borders.
