Assisting
Our own Saved in America does more than assist in helping to find runaway and missing children. We also aid high-risk juvenile shelters in protecting children from further exploitation by pimps and predators. It is this scenario that led to Saved in America proudly assisting residential facilities for foster children affected by or at risk for child abuse or sex trafficking.
The Problem at Foster Care Facilities
The problem is often due to inadequate security and surveillance being done by the facilities. Many children stuck in the foster system are simply leaving unlocked facilities and end up being further exploited. This is not only a problem for the kids themselves who become further victimized, but it becomes an issue about safety in the surrounding neighborhoods and communities as well. Saved in America has performed over 260 highly technical surveillance operations at foster care residences. They also perform physical security assessments and make recommendations based on their findings to prevent predators from gaining additional access to the children housed within these facilities.
The Immense Scope of the Job
As part of the technical operations provided by Saved in America, numerous children have been identified leaving the facilities. This takes thousands of investigative hours by SIA operators to complete. The result is a safer facility and the increased presence and support of local law enforcement to continue to provide a safe place for these kids, out of the reach of predators who want to do them harm.
