The Maverick Way

The Mavericks in Motion Podcast, interviewed our own Joshua Travers of Saved in America who saves children the maverick way! Case Manager Joshua explains that Saved in America is a non-profit organization made up of former police officers and Navy SEALs and other military specialists, all of whom are all fully licensed private investigators. Throughout the 10 years of its history, Saved in America boasts a 100% success rate of finding and rescuing children, with 237 rescued children and counting.

The Maverick Way

Although Joshua says that Saved in America doesn’t believe they are a bunch of mavericks. Instead, he says they are just regular people who have committed their lives to making the world a better place. Though there are evils, there is also good in the world and justice will prevail in the end.

Trusting The System

Although there are a great deal of problems associated with the legal system and the way it prosecutes evil in society, the professionals of Saved in America understand that they have to work within the legal system, alongside active law enforcement officials to perform rescues. Saved in America understands that the police departments need to complete the rescues once the missing kids have been found by the efforts of Saved in America. Our organization follows up and gets kids the help they need to recover and then also increases the chances of predators being prosecuted within the legal system.

Saved in America Steps into The Gap

Saved in America isn’t created to be a substitution or to take the place of law enforcement departments. Instead, they work alongside them, as these departments are often undermanned and lack the funds to provide the man-hours necessary to track down missing kids. In the case of most missing kids, there is a great deal of research and surveillance that needs to be done to track them down. This is time-consuming and most police forces simply don’t have the ability to meet these needs. It’s not a lack of want to, it’s a deficiency of manpower and in some cases training and skill to be able to meet the need. Thankfully, Saved in America proudly steps into the gap for these kids and helps police departments be where they cannot be and do the surveillance necessary to not only find a kid but build a case against the predators responsible after the fact.
