Arresting Her Predator
Saved in America was called in on a case involving a 14-year-old girl from Sparks, Nevada. Unbelievably, the girl’s abductor was some 200 miles away but traveled to get the girl and then transported her to Rosarito Beach, Baja California. Once Saved in America got involved, some eight days or so after the child went missing, they, along with the Mexican Police, Sparks Police Department, and Federal Law Enforcement officers located the child and facilitated her entrance back into the United States.
The Predator Was Arrested
While the 14-year-old girl was safe in rehabilitation after her harrowing ordeal, her predator, Christopher Alexander Bororquez, was arrested for his crimes. Unfortunately, he skipped bail and became an active fugitive. Once again, Saved in America was called to aid in helping in this case. They worked with the Nevada Department of Corrections to recapture Bojorquez on a $1 million warrant. He was subsequently sentenced to Nevada State Prison for up to eight years.
This Case Shows the Value in Working Together
Seeing the girl rescued and the bad guy prosecuted in this particular case took the efforts of several law enforcement agencies along with the skill provided by the private investigators at Saved in America. Founder Joseph Travers explains it further, “This case is the example of how several law enforcement agencies and effective private organizations can work together to eradicate child sex trafficking in the United States. It is one of the many cases we wish to enforce throughout each city in the entire country. This is an example of how Saved in America can help the parent locate a child; provide law enforcement with investigation and intelligence resources; bring justice to the predators; and most importantly, recover a child who has gone missing, runaway, or has been trafficked.”
Sparks Nevada Chief of Police Chris Smith went on to add, “The work done to safely recover the 14-year-old female juvenile who was in the company of an adult acquaintance she met through social media, Christopher Bojorset, could not have been done as efficiently or timely without the collaboration of everyone involved.”
Rescue is Just the Beginning
Of course, the rescue is just the beginning of the recovery process. Saved in America proudly ensures that the victims of human trafficking are given the help they need to recover after they are rescued from their captures.
