SIA Fundraising

The 4th annual #ChildSavedNotSold took place on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at the elegant US Grant Hotel. The event featured various speakers and served the purpose of raising awareness of human trafficking in America as well as promoting giving to our own organization, Saved in America. Our organization provides a huge service to families of missing or exploited children, free of charge, rescuing them from the evils of the human trafficking industry. It also aids the victim after their rescue, getting them the help they need to recover and helping them obtain legal representation, and promoting the prosecution of the predators.

It’s About More Than Fundraising

Although fundraising was an important aspect of this night, it was not its sole focus. It also was a time to honor and recognize Papa Doug Manchester, Honorary Chair who was nominated to be the US ambassador to the Bahamas in 2017. Jack McGrory, retired Marine Corps Lieutenant and Rifle Platoon Commander along with Eric Basu a retired Navy SEAL and Saved in America Advisory Board Chair were also honored as part of the night’s events. Add to this, an acknowledgment of generous donors, such as Michael and Victoria Fitzpatrick, Denny Sanford, two World Series Champion Aubrey Huff and Stephanie Myers, who serves on the Saved in America Advisory board, as well as appearing as a contestant on The Apprentice Reality TV Show, and it's clear this annual event was one of the best to date.

These Heroes Gave and Keep Giving

Child sex trafficking is the fastest growing crime in the entire nation, with California being the number one state for the crime. Thankfully, through Saved in America, soldiers who fought overseas for our freedom are now using their immense training to help kids on the home front. Papa Dough Manchester, who was an honored and recognized guest at the event said the following about those who served in the military and are selflessly giving back once again:

“We give thanks and praise to the heroes who have served our country and are once again serving to assist families in need; they represent the best and brightest among us.”

Honoring these fine people as well as raising money for a worthy organization that continues to fight for the innocence of children all over the nation was the focus of this annual event spotlighting Saved in America.
