Skilled Team Rescues

The 2008 movie TAKEN showcases the disturbing world of sex trafficking in a cinematic thriller. It follows a father whose daughter has been kidnapped or taken into the human trafficking industry. The Dad is furious, obviously but doesn’t have the money necessary to pay off the kidnappers. He does; however, have something else, which he describes in the movie as a “very particular set of skills. Skills that I have acquired over a very long career; Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you.” While the movie is implying a level of violence that our organization would not condone, the part about being a nightmare for those seeking to hurt kids is right on the money. Our organization at Saved in America is made up of volunteers with real-life professional experiences that make us a nightmare for those who seek to harm children. It is our goal to organize rescues, finding girls before they become victimized by the industry.

The Volunteers Who Make up Saved in America

Our relatively young organization is made up of founder Joseph Travers who is a minister, private investigator, and former lawman/detective. All of our other volunteers are also licensed private investigators and have some form of specialized training, such as being a Navy SEAL. This group, therefore, possesses a particular set of skills, acquired over long careers, that make them nightmares to deal with when one’s aim is harming a child. While our goal is not to physically harm these predators, we do desire to see them behind bars where they belong, ensuring they are unable to hurt another child.

Services Are Free

The services offered by Saved in America are completely free. Although each child requires around $5,000 to find and rescue in the form of travel costs and equipment, we do not charge even one family, ever. None of our professionals charge for their expertise or services either. Instead, Saved in America relies on generous donations to ensure we can keep being nightmares to those who intend to harm children. This piece at Risen Magazine, which features a question and answer format with our own Joseph Travers explains even more. It outlines the job at hand as well as the methods our organization uses to complete the job and rescue as many girls out of the human trafficking industry as possible.
