Vietnam Veteran SEAL

It was once said that by the time that a Navy SEAL team has hit you, they are already gone with the job completed. This specialized unit, known simply as a SEAL stands for (Sea, Air and Land), which is all the ways in which this immensely skilled and highly trained unit can and do attack, rescue and serve. Out of the 1,000 candidates that start Navy SEAL training on an annual basis, only 200 to 250 will be qualified as an elite fighter.

It is this highly specialized background, where only the elite survive, that our own Special Operations Consultant and Advisory Board Member, Master Chief Navy SEAL Kirby D. Horrell, comes from. This highly qualified military professional, who now volunteers his time to combat child sex trafficking for Saved In America, was once again called into active duty to serve in 1990 for Operation Desert Storm. He was also one of the last Vietnam veteran SEALs to retire. This tenacious attitude and commitment to seeing wrong made right has led him to support and lead the Saved In America organization.

The mission of Saved In America is one that is much aligned with the mission that Master Chief Horrell achieved in his military service. Our mission at Saved In America is of course simple yet profound: to locate your child. This mission is one Master Chief Horrell understands as he spent his entire military career seeking to save innocent lives who were in danger. Today, though in a different capacity, he still is serving his country by looking for and finding countless children who have been sold into the sex trafficking industry and restoring them to their families.

Master Chief Horrell explained that when he returned from military service he was shocked to discover the type of atrocities that were taking place on America’s shores. Learning about how young girls were being sold into situations that were simply unspeakable and inherently Un-American inspired him to use his unique skill set to once again redeem the innocent by seeking to find lost children. Saved In America works for the parents to find their lost children and prevent the sex trafficking industry from continuing to grow in America’s borders. This mission is one of valor and honor, just as so many of Master Chief Horrell’s missions were throughout his military experience. #ChildSaveNotSold
