Find Kids Before Bad Guys

According to statistics from The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, some 300,000 children go missing or runaway each year. This statistic would be bad enough on its own, but when approximately 100,000 of those kids will be found by sex traffickers within 48 hours of leaving their homes, and then sold into human trafficking before they are rescued, the grim reality of what is going on in this nation is revealed.

Saved In America Wants to Find Kids First

As is the case with every predator, the sexual predators, pimp or gang member is no different, they go after the most vulnerable among the group. Though they do occasionally target children in supportive homes, it is much easier for them target kids who do not have a good home life or who have run away. Therefore, our organization, Saved In America, is dedicated to finding runaway and missing kids before the sex traffickers do, and giving them a chance or recovering and leading a healthy life toward success. We understand that sometimes, these predators have successfully invaded healthy homes and encouraged kids to run away, where they will be victimized.

The Six-Step Process

At Saved In America, we employ a six-step process to find missing and runaway children before they become victims of sex crimes or to find kids who have already been sold into the industry. The process begins by contacting parents and having them sign a power of attorney. This allows the volunteers to act on the child’s behalf and to access their personal information, like their online activity, etc., and to speak to law enforcement on their behalf. Then, the social network investigation begins. This part of the process allows the volunteers to determine who lured the child away from home and who might have them now.  Then, once actionable information is obtained and the location of the missing child is known, law enforcement is called to recover the child. The child is then rehabilitated and kept safe until they can be moved to a more permanent healthy location or safe house. After rehabilitation, Saved In America will assist with scholarships for continued education or vocation training and work with the victim and their families to substantiate criminal convictions of the predators involved. Saved In America wants to ensure justice is served and the victim is on a pathway to recovery and success! #ChildSavedNotsold
